The United States will need substantial and sustained capital investments over the next two to three decades to fund rising electricity needs. Investments could total US$1.4 trillion from 2025 to 2030—with similar expenditures until about 2050.
Therefore, the U.S. power sector is experiencing significant growth due to a surge in electricity demand. But access to skilled labor able to perform these specialized services is increasingly scare across much of the United States.
